It is with great pleasure that we share with you our new vision and strategy for the Distilleries Group Toorank (DGT). When developing the new strategy, we took into consideration the future direction of the global spirits markets and the consumer trends along with feedback from our valued customers and distributors.

This diagnosis revealed that what really set’s us apart is our R&D and product quality. This is reflected, among others, in the fact that we have won over 200 international medals –more than any other independent craft distiller.

We will now have clear direction for the business in terms of 5 core pillars, supported by 3 core values.  Although in the early days of the new plan, we are already seeing growth, which is really pleasing.

One of the things we have been less good at is communicating with our partners and informing the market on the great products we make. We promise to actively listen and talk more to our customers and ensure that we develop strategic partnership’s build on mutual trust and respect.

Investing in our own award winning brands such as our world beating Sloane’s gin is also part of our strategy. As Sloane’s is the only gin that won the double gold at the most renowned San Francisco Spirits Competition, with all 44 judges being unanimous, it can truly call itself The World’s Best Gin. And this again confirms our positioning.
